I was going to head off back to Manchester but Angie who had done one or two trips was wanting to get out on Lady Ash and said she would pop down. We set out a bit later than intended (as always...) and headed off to get round Carmel Head.
Conditions were a little rough as there was a bit of overfall action at the head.
We didn't get round and the tide was too strong so we set off back and screamed back at 11 knots over ground. We then sailed around in the bay before finally heading in. 15 NM.
Fresh but good days sail. I have to point out that I loaned her my hat as it was a bit cold, she did chastise me for not telling her what a prat she looked!
