CUTLASS 27, MY FIRST BOAT

You go on courses and charter boats, go on sailing weekends to get more experience and eventually you want your own boat.
But what to buy? What can I afford? What size shall I get? What hull is best? What rig is best?
All these questions and more plague your brian until you just keep giving up. But one day all those questions seem to find an answer. Here is how I chose my first boat.
I went to see a Contessa 26 at Dickies boatyard in Bangor. I didn't like this boat as it was quite cramped for me. However I saw a boat I had never seen before called a Cutlass 27, she had just been sold but I thought it was a great first boat. I set out to find another.....

Hi Brian,

I agree with you and I am looking out for a cutlass 27 was after a contessa 26 but lacks headroom.

I may go bigger a vindo 32 or a contessa 32 but at the moment my budget suits the 27. Will let you know how I get on.
