I had various recommendations in the survey about work to be done on Lady Ash.
The first things I had to do before she was put into the water was replace the sacrificial anodes on the hull and prop shaft.
These I did quite easily after visiting my new bloke heaven, Mailspeed Marine in Warrington.
Here the staff are really knowledgeable and helpful.
I also needed a new log, as the old one had sustained a bit of damage when the boat was swinging about in a force 8 in Essex!
The new log transducer slipped in no problem and I re-connected the wiring.
I also took off all the running rigging, using mousing lines so I could get them all back in afterwards. A lot of the lines had algae growing on them so they were quite an eyesore. A quick run through the washing machine fixed them up along with the stack pack which also needed the odd patch.
