Day out in Cemaes Bay

The first sail of 2010 came on 22nd May. This was mainly due to the large amount of work I did on Lady Ash such as painting the deck and greasing winches, painting the stove, mending the toe rail, sanding and varnishing the toe rail, putting in a table leg mount in the cockpit etc. All this was done in sail time as I couldn't motivate myself to go down in the winter...

Anyhow my friend Colin Heron, owner of "Tangle" joined me in a little outing to Cemaes Bay. We motored there and back and anchored at Lamb Island using the new outboard on the dinghy to get across the bay to The Stag pub! We left the dinghy well up the beach and it was perfectly placed for the journey back on the edge of the water.
